Columbia, MD – sprint triathlon by the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults

.62 mile swim, 16 mile bike, 3.4 mile run – 3:07:24- Female overall 1049 of 1,142

This triathlon business is tough. Crack of dawn workouts, aches and pains that I can’t tell if they’re from my age or injury, and just a lot of time and dedication. But when race day comes and my adrenaline flows, nothing else matters. Thank you to everyone who cheered me on from near and far, but especially to my night owl hubby and kids who got up at the crack of dawn… actually dawn isn’t even cracking at 4am…to come with me to my race. Words cannot express how much that meant to me.

I’m so proud of myself. So blessed that I’m able to move. Thank you, God, for allowing me to do what I love. Another Iron Girl in the bag!
